Here at =Abfc co. we make all of our emotes by hand (or cursor, for all intensive purposes) and with love.
Also... These bastards stole my shading recipe!!!!! :shakefist:

THIS TOOK FOR-FUCKING-EVAR!!!!
Time spent on:
Thinking it all through: 40 minutes
Pixeling the layers and parts: 1.5 hours
Animating: 2 hours
conveyor belts are a pain in the ass to pixel.. My original idea was to have them constantly going, but it would've been WAY too much work...

Well, this is my first attempt at a critique, so It may not be wonderful xD

When I first saw this, I fell in love with it! It is a great pile of work packed into one deviation. The overall idea was brilliant, though I have seen others with the same concept. Your attention to detail is WONDERFUL, like when you make the red light blink. You also gave the laws of physics a great deal of "respect" xD. The emote being "painted" is a great idea, and gives this work it's originality. I feel the "Dev Art" box could use a different shading effect.The hands shooting out to land next to the body is great, but when the second hand lands it has a very unrealistic and choppy bounce.

Overall, this is a great piece of work, and gives a point that now that there are "fancy" tools like the gradient tool, hand pixelling will bring out the best in an emote:)

Well, I don't think anybody could say this is a bad emoticon. It's smooth, the pixel work on the emote is great, everything fits together and ties in to this amazing animation. The only thing I would suggest is maybe make something come down and draw a face? That would make it even better, and cuter. But besides that it's great! There isn't really much to critique, because almost everything is perfect. The way the color sprays on on to the emote is really awesome. There are a lot of different 'How emoticons are made' animations made by different emoticonists, but you did a spectacular job on this one.
