CommentsDevious CommentsI would also add, that the lower left is our of kilter with the rest, as it's even further out of focus, and doesn't have any highlight is it. It's also contains more blue, where the other quadrants contain mainly between reds and yellows.
The top left is slightly more in focus than the rest, throwing it off, however the angle of the ligh can draw the eye into (or away) from the center. Thats about all. (no, im not critiquing this piece, I'm just expanding apon =Abfc's ideas, and it wouldn't be worth creating another critique to repeat what he has said. -- Allways Killing Two Birds With One Stone. [ Avatar by =arrioch ] (made with extra love) The direction and angle of the lights in the top left picture are intended to steer the viewers eyes towards the center so it's pretty much intentional. People tend to look at the top left of images at first, especially when the object of the image is unclear. Just wanted to clarify why I placed the image up there. :]
Thanks for your input! -- I agree and I do see where you're coming from. I may overwork a few aspects of it at some point in time.

I'm quite fond, though, of how each element of the piece has it's own unique aspects, in spite of all being the same basic idea - blurred light. It's a lovely photo, Andy. Very well done.
